Etxea (Home) is the first of three albums produced by the trikititxa player Kepa Junkera along with a large number of fellow musicians. The project’s objective is to showcase traditional basque music through the voices of artists from around the world. One of Etxea’s title, Ikusten Duzu Goizean, magnificiently opens the film The Basque Country: A Nation Without Borders. Composed by the Basque poet Jean-Baptiste Elissamburu, the song is interpreted by Spanish singer Pedro Guerra along withKepa Junkera at the accordion.
